A portion of proceeds from sale of the art will support NIM programs.

Guest Artists

This will be one of Sonia Sanchez' first appearances since she was named Philadelphia's first Poet Laureate. 

Odean Pope is one of the "founding fathers" of Philadelphia jazz saxaphone, and will perform at this very special event.
 

2011 inauguration of an E.B. Lewis Reading Corner at each of
NIM's Early Learning Resource Centers

NIM celebrated its partnership with E.B. Lewis in November by hosting children from Childspace Day Care Center at the first "E.B. Lewis Reading Corner" in NIM's West Mt. Airy Early Learning Resource Center. Another Reading Corner has since opened in West Philadelphia, and a schedule of celebrity readers is being planned.
