What We Do

The Neighborhood Interfaith Movement (NIM) is a 40-year-old and growing non-sectarian alliance of over 50 religious congregations (Christian, Jewish, Unitarian, and Muslim) and faith institutions in and near Northwest Philadelphia. We began as an organization devoted to interfaith dialogue and embracing diversity. Over the years, we have devoted our attention to the most pressing issues in the community and have developed significant expertise and a robust array of services in child care training and older adult advocacy. Our programs now affect one in eight preschool age children and one in two long-term care residents in the city of Philadelphia.
