Do Yoga Exercises for Your Eyes
Of all the sense organs, the eyes are the most vital. Here are some simple yoga exercises. They are beneficial for the eyes and strengthen and activate the eye muscles.
First of all, you have to squint your eyes. Use the eye muscles to press firmly around the eye and the eyelid muscles. Maintain pressure for about 5-10 seconds. Then relax the eyes and muscles involved as much as possible. Repeat the procedure at least 10 times.
Second, look at both near and far objects. Stand near a window or on the balcony. Hold the index finger of your right hand one or two inches from your nose. Look at your finger for 3 seconds. Move your gaze to a distant building or tree for 3 seconds. Repeat the process with both eyes at least 30 times.
The next step is to move your eyes up and down. Move your eyes as high as possible without moving your neck. Then lower them as far as possible. Repeat this 10 times.
